Mexico's kite capital is a dusty Baja village that fills with wind people every winter: La Ventana, where the Cerralvo Island venturi drives 15-25 knot thermals from November to March and the lodges stand directly on the launch — several with their own kite school inside the property. Europe's off-season is Baja's main event.
