Kitesurfing on Paros happens at Pounda, the island's dedicated kite beach on the west coast, where the channel toward Antiparos funnels the Meltemi over shallow, swell-free water. The Paros Kite Pro Center has taught here since 2002 and the Anapnoe resort puts your bed on the sand itself — one minute from the water, with the beach in front for whoever is not riding and Naoussa's tavernas a short drive away.
