Kitesurfing at Marsa AlamWIND 12 MONTHS A YEAR
Kitesurfing at Marsa Alam uses two reef-protected launch bays on Egypt's deep south coast: El Naaba, with the ProCenter Tommy Friedl on the Equinox beach, and the Casa Mare lagoon, with the family Casa Mare Resort, the adults-only Casa Blue and the Kiteboarding Pro Center. Quieter than the north, wind every month of the year, and some of the best snorkelling in the Red Sea for whoever stays ashore.
The adults-oriented pick of the Casa Mare lagoon (minimum age 12). Beachfront on the flat standing water, kite center next door, all-inclusive and calm.

The Kitesurf Camp verdict Egypt's quiet deep south: reef-flat bays with standing-depth entries, wind that never really stops, and hotels planted on the sand of their own launch. Fewer kites in the sky than anywhere north, waves outside the reef when you want them.
